Prettiest Little Riverboat this Side of the Mississippi
The Harrisburg Area Riverboat Society is a 501-c-3 non-profit community service organization headed by a voluntary board of community leaders that operates the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat as a service to the people of the region. The Riverboat Society’s mission is simple: to serve the people of the Harrisburg Area through increased tourism, economic development and enhanced education regarding the history and ecology of the Susquehanna River. Since her construction and launch under the leadership of local businessman Mike Trephan nearly 25 years ago, the Pride has carried more than a half-million passengers. Because we are a non-profit organization, only with community support can the Society continue to offer these great cruises and ensure that we can “keep the paddles turning” for future generations.
