My Boyfriend and I lived at Hello Betty's for our last trip out to Oceanside. Its just a fun spot to sit outside and enjoy some great drinks and food. Our favorite was the pull and peal shrimp, salads, and tacos. It was a perfect spot next to our hotel and the downtown area.

Great service, good selection of beer, food at dinner is mediocre, certainly nothing exciting. In fact disappointing given the restaurant itself looks very nice, clean, spacious, etc. and they call themselves a "fish house". IMO that's a stretch once you read the menu re selection and cooking choices.

The Pacific Ocean view is beautiful. You can see it from the outdoor bar or from first or second floor restaurant. The food is seafood and really fresh. The service was prompt and very friendly.
