The real stars at Detroits Hard Rock Cafe arent on the menu; check out the dozens of pieces of musical memorabilia displayed throughout. See Jimi Hendrixs pen-sketched self-portrait titled Jimi by Jimi and the white dress hometown girl Madonna wore in the Vogue video in 1990. Raising the bar for bar food, Detroits Hard Rock features a floor-to-ceiling stained glass mural, which provides a... more

Yes, it's a theme restaurant, but at least the days of snarling doormen blocking entry to the uncool are over. Now the Hard Rock is friendlier than a new puppy, and the staff trip over each other trying to make diners happy. Hard Rock Detroit, opened in 2003, is located in the heart of the city. The kitchen churns out group-friendly appetizers like nachos and Southern staples like barbecue ribs and chicken. Burgers are served with hefty sides of fries and the signature pulled-pork sandwich is topped with vinegar barbecue... more

This place was the lamest Hard Rock I've been to and one of the worst restuarant experiences ever. It started out with the hostest and her 5-inch curling around fingernails on all 10 fingers- creepy! Then we each order a hamburger - you could have broken a tooth on the bun it was so dry and crusty. The side salad that came with it was served to me on a plate so hot the salad was wilting... more

Can you say "tourist trap" and "theme restaurant"? I went here to celebrate a birthday and everybody agreed that the food was overpriced and just not good at all. Just a lame restaurant in general, if you go to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas,... more
