First try of a lobster roll and was very good. Not a fancy restaurant more like a sandwich shop, but locals eat there and enjoy the ice cream for dessert

What's not to like? Gifford's ice cream (THE best in Maine - especially the delectable maple walnut, which is unlike any other maple walnut ice cream) and very good lobster rolls. we love this Giffords yogurt - rich, deeply flavored yogurt with nice big chunks of dark chocolate - and all low-fat!

Moose Tracks Ice Cream

Like everyone else has said the ice cream is fantastic! I tried the Moose Tracks and it was super yummy! Cute little walk up ice cream/food stand near the water in Stonington. A nice way to end a visit to Deer Isle.
