My husband and I take our kids to Har-Ber village every year and we also love going to Christmas on main street in December. It's an inexpensive and fun way to please the whole family.

If you are into old stuff, this place is for you. It's pretty amazing to think that it was all gathered by a couple who started it out as a hobby. From old dentist's tools to an old post office to more dolls than I thought I would ever see to old uniforms to...you name it. I'm not sure how...

We visited Har-ber Village today. We were aware that it focused on portraying the past in a nostalgic way. The attraction is, in fact, very large. There are over 100 "exhibits," each containing a large number of artifacts. There are no words to describe the feeling that overcomes you as you drive into the grounds at Har-Ber Village Museum and walk the paths through the Village. A visit to this quiet little community on the banks of Grand Lake definitely takes you back in time to a slower paced era when things were handmade and homemade.
