There is a new vet and a whole new staff at what used to be called Wilshire Pets. It's a whole new business and quality care and customer service are the number one priorities! The waiting room is open and airy. The staff is all new, very friendly and informed. The prices are fair and the service and quality of medicine is top notch.
Basically, all of the things that were problems once Dr Kate left have been rectified and the new staff is working hard to bring back the warm, caring environment that everyone loved about Dr Kate.
If you were previously a client and have gone elsewhere, I suggest you give them a call and see what you think. I'm sure you will be impressed.

This review is based upon my last visit to this office before Dr White so I cannot comment on the new management.
However,Ive have been bringing my 7 year old dog to Dr Kate since she was 8 weeks old. It was upsetting hearing that she moved to Fl.
Ever since Dr Kate left the office it went downhill so fast. First of all, the front staff seemed to be run by underage kids that had no experience, knowledge or even compassion regarding basic vet office issues.
Second, the facility is really shoddy. You really cannot speak to the vet privately even in the tiny make-shift examing rooms without everyone hearing. The waiting room is so cramped that you are almost sitting on top one another.
Third, the owner who is not a vet totally rips you off financially and is only concerned about your money rather than you pet's well-being. Dr Kate used to work with me and understood my financial situation.
Although Dr White's reviews have been favorable I am still reluctant to revisit this office again. I am curious to see how other clients feel and I may be back if there are major improvements.
I was bummed that Dr. Kate moved away, I thought she was a great vet. Luckily, I've had the pleasure of meeting the new vet, Dr. White. She seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. She spoke in way that i could understand, I actually felt like I was talking to one of my good friends. She was very thorough, and she made sure i understood everything. And she definitely has a way with animals. My cat (Meowie) seems to like her, too! She even called back a few days after my visit to see how Meowie was doing! I look forward to visiting her again soon (but...in a good way!)

I understand the reviews left by frustrated folks wanting help to get there pets' records or just to try to find a vet as great as Dr. Kate was. I was almost in the same boat. (Luckily, while Dr. Kate's place was falling apart, all Porter needed was his shots and flea stuff, so I didn't really need an awesome vet for that, although the records would have been nice...) Anyway, when he started to pee a lot and drink a lot of water, I was asking my friends where they go, as I new Porter needed to see somebody and soon. I was at Jack in the Box and looked across the street (thinking, oh, geez I wish Dr. Kate would miraculosly come back) when I saw PEOPLE going in and out of Wilshire Pets! I went over to see what was going on and I met Dr. Tania White and her Mom (how cute is that!?) And I talked to Dr. White about Porter. She recomended to bring him in for blood tests and a urine-analysis because beagles can get cushion disease or diabetic.
So yesterday was Porter's big day. He had high blood sugar and sugar in his pee, so we are going to give him shots of insalin now. Dr. White gave me lots of information about how to save money and regulate his blood sugar at home. I'm a little afraid, but I am going to try! (Because Porter's my little man and I love him, and he needs my help!)
Dr. White already called me this morning with the rest of his lab results and to check how the first shot on my own went (great, thank you very much!!!)
Sorry for the long post, but I'm so happy to have someone as understanding and realistic about people's money and who can teach you how to help yourself and your pet. This is so much like Dr. Kate, not money grubing or fake at all. I recomend going to Dr. White and see for yourself before you decide to get mad and get your records and never come back. Dr. White is REALLY COOL and you will probably feel at home like I did and not rushed or cheated. And right now, ther is no waiting (but when business picks up for her, there probably might be.) Thank you Dr. White for taking over the mess and making it a great place again! Peace. -Eff and Porter!
My cat went in for dental surgery recently and he caught ring worm. He also came back limping on one hind foot. He also came back dehydrated. They clipped his nails past the pink part of the cat nails, so wrong and painful for a cat. ..."
the staff was great and the vet was just fantastic. My cat had an eye infection and they managed to get me in on short notice which was a relief, and Dr White explained everything in a friendly and concise manner. Having just moved into the area I was really apprehensive about getting a new vet, but these guys put me right at ease. Prices were very reasonable too and on par with my last vet, I...
