I have generally not had good experiences at hotels in the Nassau County area of Long Island. I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the experience was at this hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean & neat hotel. All around a great experience. I would stay at this hotel and other Hampton Inn Suites again.

Here a few weeks ago., was very clean and had friendly staff. Loved the architecture of the breakfast area. Had a room next to train tracks though, was not away about the train being so close to hotel.

Disappointing rooms and breakfast

Despite the staff who are lovely and accommodating, the hotel itself is disappointing.
Situated next to the freeway and train (think noisy and shaking walls) this expensive hotel ($200 avg. cost) seems more like a motel than a hotel.
Rooms are average size and beds are decently comfortable. I do enjoy the travel size soaps, shampoos etc and especially appreciate...

Great location. Many quality restaurants close by. Was easy to get to NYC. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious for a NY hotel. Breakfast was good. Price is average for Long Island. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Long Island but making trips into New York City.

Great accommodations, pleasant staff, location perfect for my stay! Would stay again in a heartbeat! Made this leg of our family trip very worthwhile. There is no more to say...sometimes the number of words to express greatness are simple and few!
