This convention-oriented hotel, opened in 2003, may be part of a chain but it's definitely a cut above cookie-cutter. Rooms, done in clean-lined Western style with gleaming wood headboards, polished stone floors, and wrought-iron curtain rods, are very attractive. We stayed here on a Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. $18 for overnight parking and valet is a great deal. If you are gonna be hitting up 6th St this is the place to stay. 2 or 3 blocks from 6th the accomodations are worth the price. Not the cheapest, but there are much more expensive in the area and the location can't really be beat. Oh, and if you're gonna cry over the $15 valet only parking, then I think I passed by a Super 8 just outside of the city that might be more to your liking.....
