We love the Hale Koa--- its not "frilly" or "ritzy" - its just right. You can be yourself and enjoy the hotel. The gym is simple and keeps the excercise routine going. Waikiki beach and everything -GREAT! We get up to our room... no DVD player, no Microwave??? The rooms looks like it could use a make-over. It would not have been a Big deal, but it rained most of the three days we were there. Our third visit and it just gets better and better - we will be back for our next helping of the Aloha Spirit! The hotel is not overly fancy but warm and welcoming. The gardens are some of the best on the island. Great pools and other amenities.
