Hadaka means “naked” in Japanese, so one can only imagine what’s in store at this Sunset Strip restaurant. There are two versions of the menu: nice and naughty. The nice sushi rolls bear names such as the G-Spot (California roll with shrimp covered in dynamite sauce) and the Threesome (tuna, mixed crab and tempura shrimp). The naughty menu, which is available upon request, has more explicitly...

Fledgling Sunset Strip den Hadaka Sushi gives adult names to the rolls with the hope it will translate to a good time for diners. Care for a "threesome"? Anyone? If any unwitting diner were to stumble down the steps into Hadaka, the sunken chalet-like building that used to be a waffle house, he or she would quickly realize what was in store upon entering the lounge: Bright red alphabet-letter...

The private dining room, reserved for larger groups, offers body sushi presented on...

I had no idea how this would turn out other than none in our party had ever had "body sushi." ...

I went with friends on a Saturday evening. We made reservations, but that wasn't necessary because the place was dead. The food tasted great, but I had to say, the menu with all of its sexual names for the sake of sticking with the theme was hard to read and distracting. The decor was funny for the first five minutes, but after a while, I felt clausterphobic with the dim lighting and the pin up...

On a first time visit to this hyped up sushi restaurant for my girlfriends birthday, I had high exectations. There was nobody there, so I thought the service would be great. However, the waitress was brand new and didn't know a thing. Several things I ordered never came and I had to ask her twice. The dessert chef was also new, and couldn't make the famous dessert I wanted to try after...
