Gwyn’s is quite simply the best restaurant on Snowmass Mountain. And you can only get there on skis. Tucked inside the large rustic caféteria-lodge is this small white tablecloth restaurant with windows overlooking the scenic surroundings. Still best sit down on-mountain dining, updated for great views and modern look. Was sad to see the cozy feel disappear with the redesign, but will still go at least once a trip to Snowmass.

Simply special, not to missed to complete a real Snowmass skiing experience. I have lived in Snowmass Village for 40 years and had many wonderful experiences on the mountain. This week's visit to "the new" Gwyn's was another reminder how special Snowmass is.

Special on-mountain dining ;pricey but the quality of food and service is worth it for a special occasion. The setting and décor are exquisite.

I have been eating a Gwyn's for many years. It is not only a terrific on mountain dining spot, but it would be an excellent restaurant anywhere. The soups are wonderful. The menu includes beef and fish dishes prepared in a creative fashion. The rolls are excellent. The service is always good. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the extensive wine list.

we celebrated a friend's birthday and the staff was so accomodating (even though we were a little late to our reservation due to slow lifts). It was delicious and such a treat to eat on-mountain in the newly remodeled space. We will be back (and on time)!
