Great Cajun/Creole food in the Farmers Market.
Shrimp Po Boy -Gumbo Pot - Los Angeles
-
The Po'Boy should have been called a Lettuce Po'Boy, It was ok but nothing special. Way too little shrimp. Way too much lettuce. It was also not on a soft french roll like I associate with Po'Boys. It was a pretty hard roll.
This is easily the best resturant at Farmers maarkt try bsckened snapper.
Visit Gumbo Pot and you`ll get a cafeteria that serves a Cajun cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost between $8 and $12, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual.
Outdoor dining
Every Mardi Gras, the Gumbo Pot transforms the Farmers Market into a two-day party, with New Orleans-style music and food.
