What can I say, it's an art store. People always rave that the prices are way lower than Meininger's, but (at least on things I need -- drawing papers, charcoal, drawing/ink stuff, I don't paint) the prices are not THAT much lower. I've been here twice in the last 3-4 months and both times I felt the prices and selection were adequate (Meininger's kills it for selection but is expensive), but... more

I am a student downtown and have been going to Guiry's for a while now. They are way cheaper than anywhere else near by. The customer service can be hard to come by, but if you do find someone they will devote their attention to you. I love this place.
