Split-level coffee shop that is an oasis in the midst of a Arts District desert of warehouses. Wide selection of coffees and teas. Really good pastries and sandwiches as well. Pleasant atnosphere with soft music in the background. Sit in a booth, or tall table or on a comfortable sofa - the options are sweet. Parking is a bear!

Sundays mornings are the BEST! I love waking up early, riding my bike to be welcomed by a beautiful and empty downtown LA, and biking to Groundworks for a cup of coffee and to do some studying. one day i was strolling along and i ran into ths great coffee shop. they have high quality coffee at a great price. the shop itself is really warm and cozy and has the perfect atmosphere to drink coffee
