I have been getting my hair straightened at a nice salon on Fillmore once a year for the last several years. They do a nice job but I pay over $600 plus tip for the straightening and it takes about 5 hours. I've tried different salons, including those in Japan Town, but found that their carelessness and inferior techniques badly damaged my hair.
