Greyfriar's looks like a hole-in-the wall kind of place, but it cranks out some great coffee. They roast their coffee on-site, which is a rarity. The shop has a cozy atmosphere too, and a friend and I sipped our cups while enjoying a discussion on one of the couches in the back. No better coffee shop in Chattanooga!
