There is something magical about a beer, a hotdog
and a minor league game, and Nashville has a
little bit of that magic at Greer Stadium, home
of the Nashville Sounds. The guitar shaped
scoreboard is all that betrays the Nashville
locale, as it could be any small town team that
you "root, root, root" for when they play
"Take Me Out to the Ball Game." There are also
some other special... more

The stadium has since been expanded and seats 10,700 fans, which comes in handy on promotional nights throughout the long, hot summers. Greer is one of only a few U.S. stadiums that is privately owned and absolutely the only stadium in the... more

i recently attended a sweet nashville sounds game not expecting much. WOW

I WAS WRONG.

it was lots of fun, and the people there were allllll NICE. the mascots, concession sellers, players all did nice things to make me feel home.

one punk, mitch maier, kept messing up in the outfield and at bat, but everyone laughed and bonded at his badness. it was truely a family experience. troof

Stay away from Sluggers, baseball is fun with free parking

There is nothing like baseball on a warm summer night. My friends & I go to Sounds? games several times a season. This review is on Sluggers, the sports bar on the 4th floor. This used to be a great place to go at 5:30 when the gates opened to get dinner before the game that starts at 7pm. It used to be first come, first served and you could get in and out of there with no problem. That is... more

Great fun, but watch when you leave...

This was my first visit in several years. The seats were starting to look worn. The game was still very enjoyable. The food is more reasonably priced than most major league parks.

Watch out when leaving! We made a wrong turn and ended up in a very scary looking neighborhood. I got directions there but didn't bother to get directions back to my hotel.

Pros

+ value, entertaining, food
