The Good: The location is the best thing going for this inn. It really is in the middle of nowhere: there's no cell phone reception, no traffic, and nothing within walking distance. You can spend the day sitting on lawn chairs next to the small river reading, and completely forget about your real life. The innkeepers were absolutely wonderful with...

The Green River Inn is a pleasant place to stay for a break from real life.
Pluses:
- Wonderful, well kept grounds, with pleasant seating by a stream and a spacious deck.
- Comfortable common areas for seating, games, TV
- Clean rooms
- Friendly service
- Full bar (when you can get help!)
- Very dog friendly

This B&B is in a lovely, quiet setting located a short distance between Manchester and Bennington, VT. We arrived on Weds. Our room was clean and spacious. As a respite from renovating our new home, we spent three nights at this lovely inn. The views from our room were magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before.
