I have had a couple of co-workers recommend them to me over the years. I have a truck with a issue that three other shops couldn't figure out. So I figured I would try them. Not only were they able to figure out the problem and fix it. But they charged me about half of what I thought it would be. I was very impressed and will be going back,
Be smarter than I was and do NOT take your vehicle to this place for service. I was severely overcharged. That's what I get for not shopping around. LESSON LEARNED. I will never walk in their doors again and I hope to save you the same mistake. BEWARE!
This group overcharges for their, at best average work.
Have always had a great experience when I bring my vehicles to Green Mtn. They are easy to deal with, Let me know what's going on with the issues I'm having, and more times than not, have options for me, and let me know what I can expect with the available options. Todd has always looked out for my best interests. I won't go anywhere else.
On weds Dec 23 around 11am, I got a full service oil change (took about 5 mins). Almost immediately they said my antifreeze fluid was contaminated. I wanted to see but as i approached one tech added fluid...could no longer see the foaming. They speculated someone added washer fluid by mistake. I declined on the flush. The charge was $ 40.11. I returned 1 hr later to complain when I realized...
Price quoted was more than double competing firms. Held car hostage, and refused to reassemble to condition it was towed in, instead, stuffed rags into assembly. Lied about statutes and fees - very dishonest. Took the vehicle to a nearby competitor who completed all of the work and more for less than 1/2 of the price quoted by Green Mountain. BUYER BEWARE.
If you want to take you car to a clean, honest, and dependable repair shop, then this is your place. When you walk in, you don't think your even in a repair job because of how clean it is. The guys have always steered me in the right direction regarding maintance on my vehicles. They also stand behind their work, I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks.
