Service seems to be on the wane here. Went with another couple and waited way too long for our food. The place wasn't even that busy. They brought 3 people's dinner while the 4th waited and the others were nearly done by the time his arrived.
This place is in the basement of a building but they have decorated it so well and it has a romantic feel to it. They have so many great tapas, I love the bacon wrapped dates and the goat cheese and marinara sauce with toast. The clams were not very good, but most of the other items on the menu...
Loved the bruschetta & house salad. Their pizza is killer and if you can get the stuffed artichokes you'll be in heaven.
This restaurant has great atmosphere. The service was prompt and each appetizer was delicious. We had the bacon wrapped dates, which were small soft bites high in flavor. The shrimp scampi was served with a delicious sauce, and the fried ravioli was crispy and delicate. The server explained that it was not a true tapas bar, but diners could split...
When you walk into a restaurant at 1 pm and only one customer is there...that was a sign that we should have turned around and left. The owner had a great spiel about how great his food was. When it arrived it was lukewarm. I sent my food back. The owner offered nothing but excuses.Never again will I go there...
