I eat at this restaurant once a quarter because i like the food - Mediterranean with a mix of Italian - I can always recommend the Fritto Misto - fried calamari, zucchini w/spicy hot tomato sauce and i tried the Tropical Salad - grilled shrimp, hearts of palm, avocado, mango, cherry tomatoes, greens even though it was cold and raining...

Overall poor service:
Took them 1.5h to deliver. Manager was absolutely unapologetic over the phone.
Ordered the bruschetta and it came with no mozzarella even though it was supposed to.
The pasta was ok, but it lacked salt.

Great little Italian place

I loved this little out of the way place in Sutton Place. The restaurant had a limited wine list the Merlot was good. The Beef Skewers with Tahini sauce were absolutely fabulous. You must try this app. I also enjoyed the pan seared duck breast and my brother enjoyed his dish also. Would definitely come back when in NYC again.

The restaurant is located on the east side of 1st Avenue near the Manhattan bridge and cable car to Roosevelt Island. The service is good but not the food. The food is too pricey and ordinary.
