Inspired by the bistros and wine bars of New York City & Europe, two friends, who met in New York, moved back to Dallas in 1972 to open The Grape. Historically The Grape was the first restaurant in Dallas to offer a blackboard menu as well as one of the first to offer wines by the glass. Over the years The Grape has boasted a cast of employees that reads like a who’s who of Dallas. Noted...

"More than just a neighborhood restaurant", this "cozy" Lower Greenville bistro/wine bar has been pleasing guests "for over 30 years" with its "innovative" New American cuisine that "never disappoints"; though the mood is "romantic", tables are a tad "tight", making seats at Sunday brunch (starring their famous burger) hard to come by.

The Grape Restaurant Review

Warning: Remove your shades before you enter this intimate restaurant, softly illuminated by clusters of glass grapes, or you'll be unable to find your table. Totally unpretentious and casual, this romantic European-style bistro run by husband-and-wife team Brian and Courtney Luscher is the kind of place we'd all like to have in our neighborhood. This is a place to go to enjoy great - no wait, FANTASIC food and company. This is like sitting outside at a Paris Bistro. take in everything and enjoy. Not a place if you want to scarf some quickly...

What to Drink: If you're here to sit under the outdoor awning and sip, try a by-the-glass. They're often chosen to compliment the rotating menu.

Save Money: Half-orders are available for some dishes, so ask your server.
