I honestly think Gran Cru Wine Bar is one of Ballston's best kept secrets. It's nestled in the middle of an office/apartment complex so it is off of the main roads (which adds to the awesomeness!). Enjoy a glass (or a flight!) of wine on their outside patio, and order scrumptious tapas & appetizers. My favs include: the olives & mixed nuts, gourmet cheese platter, warm brie & honey, and the capresse. The house wine is $5/glass so it won't break the bank, either!

Grand Cru was opened in August of 2007 in the hopes to of blending fine wine and excellent cuisine at a reasonable price. The idea came while visiting a local wine store that had a large selection of outstanding wines but no food. Adjacent to this was a great restaurant with a dismal selection of wine all at four times the retail price.
