Beautiful wedding for my niece at Hallihurst! Did not go anywhere else due to wedding. I am from the area and am very familiar with the area.

Clean, quiet & rustic. I wish they had a bathtub though. Nice weekend getaway, especially in the fall. Staff was very nice.

Upon the Davis & Elkins College overlooking a portion of downtown Elkins this renovated mansion has very very good food quality and excellent atmosphere. The restaurant is worth the trip to Elkins from anywhere within an hours drive.

Restored Victorian mansion that was once the home of Senator Davis and was named after his favorite daughter, Grace. All the rooms are furnished with lovely antiques or reproduction furnishings; the larger rooms have marble-lined bathrooms. Also featured is The Mingo Room Restaurant which offers regional, American, and continental cuisine in an original red-oak intimate dining setting.
