Gowells Home Made Candy is about the best you can get ono the South Shore. It is not a place to go to if you are hungry. The smell of the place alone can make you drool. They make the best candy gifts and wonderful easter eggs and bunnies.

PROS: Good good good chocolate
CONS: Hard to park

I love going to Gowells..when you walk in it smells so yummy, its a great place to bring the kids, to get a special gift or just go get some good candy..This is the best of the best, family owned and operated for as long as I've live here, its a Brockton landmark

What a great find. This is a family run, locally owned business in the city. They have the tastiest fudge and they are quite creative with packaging for gift giving. If you haven't tried Gowells, you should stop in. You'll love it.
