Langdon Family

Being an "in-law" of the Langdon family, I was very impressed by the knowledge of the curator. My husband, whose mother is a Langdon has told me many things over the years but I really got a feel of the Governor and the time in which he lived. It is nice to have this family background.

Business description (1)

John Langdon, merchant, signer of the Constitution, and three-term Governor of New Hampshire, built this imposing house, which was once visited by George Washington. The handsome garden features restored perennial beds, a rose and grape arbor, and a pavilion. The grounds may be rented for weddings and other occasions.
