You will feel like you're back in the Gone with the Wind days when you stay here in historic Chickamauga at Gordon Lee Mansion built in 1847. Rooms are beautifully furnished & Civil War history is all around you. Chickamauga National Battlefield Park is located right down the road.

The mansion was very nice with terrific history. I stayed in a main level bedroom which had a weird, but fine, bathroom. They didn't make houses back then like they do now....unfortunately. I've stayed at the Gordon-Lee Mansion twice. This house was General Rosecrans's headquarters before the battle of Chickamauga, and it's a great base to visit the battlefield from.
