Very good burritos (and big portions) in a nice no-frills atmosphere. But prepare for long lines at times, which get worse when the call-in folks go to the front of the line to get their food. Quite frankly I don't think it's fair to the folks who are waiting all that time in line.

This is the best place to go to get a burrito. MMMMM MMMMM MMMMM.
I go there once a week, the people whon work there are really nice.

Founded in 1977, this local restaurant chain offers Mexican fare like tacos, quesadillas and burritos. Named the number three taqueria in the San Francisco Chronicle's "Best of the Bay 2006" poll, Gordo Taqueria has a decidedly casual atmosphere. The food is prepared quickly and the portions are generous, making it a good stop for families on a budget, both time-wise and money-wise.
