i have worked for goodwill for 14 years. i worked my way up from the bottem to the dock lead position. we unloaded up to 32 trailers a day and still management wanted more. we sorted and loaded salvage goods generating millions of dollars in textile alone. that does not include the shoes, electronics or the books or stuffed animals or the computer componets. Its common practice at goodwill to...

Skip this location of Goodwill (Ochoco Outlet Store) Snippy blonde cashier couldn't be bothered by customers to show them the goodies in the glass case. The merchandise is dirty; thrown carelessly into bins in a manner that damages it even more that the day it was donated.

A few years ago, this place had potential. The bins were organized. Each bin had a real category: Men?s, women?s and...

Going to the bins means you're going to be doing a lot of digging through junk to find treasure, but it's so much fun. Don't expect to go in and come right back out with what you are looking for, it takes a lot of time to find good things here. Also, be sure to bring gloves because it's messy and very dusty!

This is THE place for great finds~~everything from material to telephones! Funky and fabulous, this place can inspire great ideas of your own: furniture & decorating or clothing & accessories!

A fun & often fruitful way to spend an afternoon!

PROS: Great finds!
CONS: sometimes crowded~the bold command best spots in front of bins!
