Help us make it rightIf I could give zero stars I would. Asked a plumber to come out to check out a couple of leaky faucets. One was a vintage late's model. The other, a less than 10 year old pedestal sink.
The 20 something "plumber" didn't even look at?
Had Golden Rule replace the blower on my vented water heater. The part was covered under warranty, but the labor was not. Golden Rule could not tell me what the price of labor would be, just the total cost ($768) and that I would then get the money back on the part after they were reimbursed for the part. Technician was there for 20 minutes to troubleshoot it, and came back 2 days later since they had to order the part. It took 10 minutes to install the part. Long story short, the net cost to me was $461 for 30 minutes of laborâ?¦.Never again.
Was very pleased with their services. The technician came to my home, was very friendly and wore red shoe covers so my home didn't get dirtied. After dignosing everything he quoted me up front options to get the work done, he took the surprise out of everything. It's nice to know what it will cost me ahead of time, unlike when I take my car in and they stick me with a 1300 dollar bill and there is nothing I can do but pay it, Golden Rule was courteous, on time, very professional, and I will continue to refer them to all my friends and family.

The 20 something ""plumber"" didn't even look at the faucets. Didn't disassemble anything.
Just said that we needed to replace everything to the tune of $2,000.00.
Go.
Somewhere.
Else.
Called and asked for a ballpark cost to hook up one drain and faucet and one drain only for a double vanity. I had already hooked up the faucet on one of the sinks. So, two drains, one sink. Was told ""$100 - $200 but don't quote me on that"". No biggie. I was pretty frustrated with the drain attempt. Plumber showed up the next day, barely looked at the job, and quoted me $330 per sink even though one was half done. So $660 total. I paid the mandatory $72.08 and sent him on his way. I spent $40 for better drains and hooked everything up in about a half an hour. The plumber told me...
