In Short Gold Star has a typical fast-food joint atmosphere--plastic booths, plastic forks, red and gold décor to match the red and gold logo. Those who don't like chili may be out of luck here. I have tried all the chili joints. None compare to Gold Star Chili. The chili is thick like the cheese. They make the food infront of you which is a plus, and they are competitively priced. this chili is very tasty. I liked Skyline chili until I tried Goldstar and now I will never go back. Goldstar piles on the cheese, and the ohh so good taste of the chili is definitely the take over taste!!!
