Gloria was an excellent seamstress with great taste. Her prices were reasonable and she was always accomodating with last minute requests. She will be missed.

I needed pockets installed in the seams of a new dress. Six local tailors either turned me down because the job was too difficult or wanted to charge $40. Gloria did a perfect job for the agreed-upon $15. The next day, I took her another dress for pockets. Both ready for pickup as promised. I'll go back.

In the end, a well-fitting dress

I had Gloria make alterations to a bridesmaid dress for me that needed to be taken in a lot at the top. Overall I'd say I was very pleased with the end result, even though it took a few tries to get there. It's a good idea to call Gloria before you stop in to check on the alterations, as I stopped in 3 times when she said she'd have my dress done, but all 3 times she didn't have it done. Luckily I lived only a few blocks away so it wasn't that big of a deal, but I could see it being frustrating for someone who has to travel to get there.
