my sump pump wasn't working so I called glenrose to come check it out for me. technician unplugged the pump and float from the outlet, and plugged the pump back in to cycle it. turns out the float was stuck and this released it.
the technician and I then flushed the toilet and ran the bathtub for 4 or 5 minutes to make sure the float would kick the pump back on. Total job too less than 10 minutes, and requried nothing more than unplugging and plugging in the pump and running some water. Total cost? over $154.

Glenrose charges by the trip/job, not by the hour. The bill came to over $500.00 to replace a main water valve and a 2 handle tub valve (I had to cut away the tile myself). The valves cost about $50 each, so they charged some $400 for about 3 hours of labor. Save yourself money and grief by going with someone who charges by the hour!.
