This park looks lovely, however mosquitoes are OUT of CONTROL. You cannot enjoy going outside. I also saw a dead copperhead in the road. No phone or internet service without walking to open areas which is where I found the snake. We left early.

Givhans is located about 10 miles northwest of Summerville, SC. Situated along the Edisto River, this 988-acre park boasts cabins, camping, fishing and hiking. The riverbanks at Givhans Ferry State Park are protected as a Heritage Trust Site due to the rare plants that can be found there.
