Giorgio's Ristorante's owner and chef, Giorgio, along with his wife, Janet, reopened their Italian restaurant in South Orange. Established in 1989, Giorgio's Ristorante has a quite elegant atmosphere with crystal fixtures and soft music. Giorgio, who hails from Italy, does all the cooking with authentic style that he learned from his family. Giorgio's specializes in Italian cuisine, serving a wide variety of pasta, meats and seafood. The restaurant serves fork-tender veal, as well as appetizers, soups, and pasta. Special entrees include Chef Giorgio's Penne Alla Giorgio's, Crusted Hazelnut Salmon, Chicken Portofino and Veal Principesa. You cannot pass up the homemade desserts that include Almond Fudge Ice Cream Mud Pie and Crme Brulee to name a few.
