Business Description from the Web
Aside from the beer taps and light fixtures, nearly everything in the Ginger Man is made of dark varnished wood or exposed brick. Extra seating can be found in the large, well-maintained patio in back. The crowd is mixed, but skewed toward young professionals. There are some 80 beers on tap and more than 100 in bottles. Sizes range from the tiny half pint to the ostentatious yard-long glass....

Tips About This Business
For stomach fillers, think sandwiches, pizza, soft pretzels, empanadas and an array of jerky--both beef and turkey.
The jukebox tunes are quite diverse. There's a good selection of jazz (Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus), soul (Barry White, Gladys Knight), country (Buck Owens, Patsy Cline) and alt-rock (Replacements, Radiohead).

I have been to Gingerman quite a few times. It never gets old, the beer selction is the best in Austin and the Atmoshere is cool, very Austin,a good place to sample some beer and talk during the day. At night it's a great place to start off the night off... The crowd and staff love beer and you can easily talk about different beers for hours with anyone. Stop by and have a few.... Cheers!!!!
