It almost "feels like Florence" at this "affordable" TriBeCa Tuscan featuring "above-average" food, "friendly" service and a "high-ceilinged", "farmhouse-like" milieu; "outdoor dining" with a "one-of-a-kind view" of the harbor and Statue of Liberty is the thing at its "off-the-beaten-path" sibling in Wagner Park.

Afforded spectacular views by way of its location on the southern tip of Manhattan, Gigino offers Southern Italian cuisine along with metropolitan vistas.

Sweet, modern spot tucked under the stone arches in Wagner Park. Like an expensive picnic served by strangers. Delicious homemade pastas and rustic Italian fare. Sit on the patio and burn calories watching the cute rollerbladers down by the river and betting on who's most likely to skid out.

The tourist-baiting view includes Ellis Island, where some of the Southern Italian recipes may once have passed.

Very nice staff, beautiful view and good food. Be sure to map the exact location and insist the taxi driver wait until you are sure you have arrived. Worth the little extra effort.

I have gone to this restaurant almost every time I'm in lower Manhattan.

Service was wonderful too, but with two other tables in the whole place that's to be expected. The restaurant could benefit from a larger sign, we had difficulty finding the entrance even using our...
