Georgetown Liquor Company's thick sandwiches, gigantic salads and entrees such as black-bean enchiladas and a Field Roast Reuben are 100 percent vegetarian. Punk rock blares from the speakers, exposed brick walls feature inspiring works from local artists and retro video-game consoles offer nostalgic delight.

There's plenty of beer on tap, but the house cocktails ("boozy treats" on the menu) shouldn't be overlooked--especially the refreshing "Mike's Pirate Grog" made with Captain Morgan, lime juice, Barcardi and sugar.

An all-vegetarian menu, vintage video games and fresh drinks at this historic Georgetown hangout.

In Short Set in the ground floor an old liquor company right off the railroad tracks, it isn't the most likely setting for a vegetarian/vegan restaurant--but this Georgetown dive admirably pays homage to its roots while looking to the future. This bar in Georgetown serves high-minded vegetarian pub grub with interesting ingredients like purple carrots and black rice. They also have old Ataris set up with all the games, so you don't have to talk to your dining companions while you eat. The kitchen is open until 10 pm, but the bar is open until 2 am. Price

Went here for the first time last night and it was great! We traveled from Snohomish county to try it and it was well worth it! The food was great, the bartender really friendly and the games were a blast. If this place was a little closer we'd be their best customers. We still plan to drive down whenever we can. Highly recommended!!!!

Georgetown Liquor Company is one of a number of really interesting businesses that have sprung up in the Georgetown neighborhood. Despite the name, this is one of the best vegetarian restaurants around, and a great place to grab a very good selection of beers.

Most of the vegetarian food is based on field roast, which is a surprisingly satisfying substitute meat. I'm a meat eater, but... more
