My mother was in a car accident while she was moving and in the hospital and they gave me a very hard time getting her personal belongings from the car. The lady at the counter was completely unprofessional and condescending every step of the way. She even personally insulted me because I disagreed with their policy of not allowing me to get my mother's clothing and personal hygiene items from the car which she would need when discharged from the hospital. I did not say anything bad toward her, but the second I got annoyed she began badgering and insulting me (called me an "animal" LMAO) and then threatened to kick me out because I was laughing about how unprofessional she was. She took it to a personal level, I've never dealt with anybody so rude in my life. She spoke with my mother on the phone while she was in the hospital and on all kinds of meds and was yelling at her and acting extremely rude. These people don't seem to have any empathy or even pretend to care about injured family members or the predicament we were in. This place basically holds your possessions hostage until you pay even if they are just personal items in the car. Avoid this place like the plague. They only made a bad situation worse.
Worst business I've ever dealt with. Broke down on NJ Turnpike, which AAA does not service. George's Garage towed my car to their shop, where they said it would be a $89 diagnostic fee. Fine. They checked the car out, called me and gave me an outrageous quote. I said thanks-but-no-thanks and arranged to have the car towed to another garage.
When I went to pick it up, George's Garage tacked on "storage fees" of almost $100 because I didn't get the work done with them. These storage fees had never been communicated at any time prior to me picking up the car. They said I either had to pay the storage fees, or they were essentially going to hold my car hostage. They even taunted me saying, "The ball's in our court. You won't win."
When I disputed the charge with my credit card company, they called me directly and threatened me. Do not ever ever ever ever ever willingly bring your car here.

On 08/31/17 one my driver got his truck stuck on while making a U-turn. When the tow company arrived, the person who helped him told him that it was going to be $750, then $1000 to get him out of the dirt. Because the driver did not have that amount of cash with him, he was escorted to business so he could pay with a credit card. Once he arrived to the business, the "lady" who took his payment...
Worst Business Ever!! AVOID AT ALL COST!! Total rip off! Very rude and unaccomadating. Charged my card even though my AAA info was present. Made it virtually impossible to retrieve items from car even though tow had been paid for! All employee's were a level of RUDE!! I would avoid them if at all possible!
