They are so good at George The Butcher and make you feel like family when you shop with them. There meat prices are so much cheaper then supermarkets at least 25-30% less and you can actually see the meat cut right in front of your eyes.....Keesha Jones

SORRY FOR THE UNCONVENTIONAL WAY OF CONTACTING YOU
Hello my name is Elaine Hall,from The United Kingdom, this might be a bit of a strange thing to ask, but I am trying to trace some of my family that used to have a Butchers shop in Long Island. Late 1940's and 1950's maybe longer I'm not sure. The Name's are George Barrack, married to Lily Hawker (Both from the UK originally) They had a Son also called George Barrack and a daughter called Mildred. I believe Mildred had two children, but I don't know their names. My Mother does have some early photo's which she is going to sort out for me....
