Had to sue Robert Mayre and Gentlemen Movers
We had Gentlemen Movers move us out of state. They damaged walls, furniture, floors, and many of our house hold items. We did every thing we could to resolve this matter with the owner. He ignored emails and phone calls. This was a 2500 square foot home, and the damage total exceeded the cost of $4,800 moving charge. We sued owner Robert Mayre and his company and won a judgment in the Pontiac Magistrates Court. However, it is unlikely we will ever see this money. (over $4,000) What saved us was video, pictures and copies of all communication with the business. Beware of this individual and his company. Moving is difficult enough.
