This is a great place. Sandwiches on fresh bread made to your specification. Fantastic deli food. Nice people though it is strange to be serve Italian food by spanish speaking folks. As close as a a NY deli without flying. Outstanding desserts strong coffee espresso

If I still lived in Oakland I would eat here everyday. It's that good. I live in LA and I always compare the food to Genovas. Nothing compares. Every time I come up to visit my folks, the first place I eat is here. I fax in my order, and I would recommend that or calling in ahead of time because they get very busy, especially on the weekends.

oh my gosh the sandwiches at Genova are sriously sooooooooooooooooo good! I always get the vegetarian sandwich.. I'm not even a vegetarian anymore but the oil and vineger-ness of it is just delicious!!! They put all kinds of yummy olives and artichoke hearts and yeah... so good!!!
