We go everytime "The Shades of Blue" are performing. They are an added class act to the already awesome atmosphere of this family restaurant.

By day, this little spot in downtown Northville is a deli-style luncheonette, with homemade soups and sandwiches. By night, it's an interactive dinner theater, where the guests get involved in the mystery or comedy. The dinner is patterned after a traditional Italian seven-course wedding feast, and the shows take place in a 132-seat theater. The restaurant gets its name because its first expansion ... more

Genitti's began as a grocery store, but in 1979 - when a hole was smashed into the store's wall - Genitti's Hole-in-the-Wall, the restaurant, was born. In Short The charming decor (reminiscent of a small-town in Italy) and casual family atmosphere are authentically Italian. After dinner, guests walk through what once was literally the ... more

Went here with a group of 20+. What a great time. The food was just wonderful. Nothing bad about family style Italian. All the staff was fun, attentive, and always wanting to make your visit enjoyable. The interactive atmosphere is just gut busting. I would not have had as much fun if we had gone with 2-4 people the fun was having a group of people to laugh with and watch being involved. If you ... more

TOO SHORT PLAY

We were astounded when the dinner theatre ended in 30 minutes. Although the food was quite good, the ambiance was mediocre. The meal may have been worth $20 and the 30 minute play $5 or $10. We left feeling ripped off after paying $45.

Pros

+ Very good dinner

Cons

- Poor Ambience, Very Poor Value - Dinner Theatre only lasted 30 minutes - paid $45

Awsome

A fun and lively place with fun and lively servers. The food is O.K. but is not the main reason to go here. The "Hole-in-the-Wall" is a great place run by great people.
