Horribly run business

Called twice to reserve and confirm a kayak, but when we arrived after a long commute we were told that they had no paddles available for 2 hours and did not seem all that concerned about the inconvenience caused. Stay away from this circus of idiots!!!

The Gevena Kayak Center is located in the far western suburbs of Chicago on the Fox River just north of Rt 38. It is a great place to learn kayaking from very friendly staff. They teach various classes from beginning to advanced. They have Kayaking and Coffee on Saturday mornings which is a great way to meet other kayakers. If you have a boat, just show up.
