This theatre is great - especially if you want to enjoy an evening with friends. The setup of this venue is very different than most. There are small tables set up directly in front of the stage so you can enjoy drinks and snacks during the performance if you wish. Also, they have a wonderful restaurant connected to the building so you can make an entire evening out of it!
I love this place! It's so beautiful and on the smaller side so you really feel part of the show. Call and get on the mailing list because they OFTEN do buy one get one free tickets to very successful/popular shows! Great night out!
If you want to go see a show with a nice intimate atmosphere and in a beautiful setting, the Gem Theatre is definitely the place to go. I went there recently and was actually pulled up on stage as part of the show. That is how close you are to the action. It is a very classy setting reminiscent of the 1920s with tables and chairs as the main floor seating. Tickets are mid-range in price....
