Geisha House

Great Sushi Bar

Review Rating
Nice place to kick it on the weekends with great people. Good food, kinda small claims tho!
Geisha House

Sushi With the Stars

Review Rating
Geisha house manages to combine a star status hangout with a good expensive (and damn tasty) sushi bar plus restaurant. Although I went for the Ashton factor for the first time, I went back several more times for the taste, setting, and location. Geisha house is dark, romantic and cozy--definitely a place for an intimate dinner or drinks with friends. I would definitely go there if I was entertaining with friends from out of town.

Geisha House is a futuristic Japanese fusion restaurant and sushi bar on Hollywood Boulevard. Geisha House is a two story restaurant set to suggest Tokyo 2050. An illuminated wall depicting the Tokyo cityscape faces a wall adorned with vintage Kimono fabric. Chef Genichi Mizoguchi serves fresh sushi and tasty hot dishes and there are many private rooms to accommodate small or large parties.

For a good meal in a central Hollywood location, Geisha House is tough to beat. With two front doors comprising a photomural of a geisha's mouth, the venue is visually striking right off the bat. Combine eye-popping graphics, a multi-leveled fireplace, live DJs, exotic eats and Geisha House seduces even the most cynical restaurant-goer. As one of the Dolce Group's properties, the red-hued... more

The glowing pink squares on the building's exterior set the scene for the "Paris was here so I should be too" crowd at this Dolce Group standby. The mostly 20-something crowd enters through a red-painted wood hallway, arriving at a full-length mirror--a not-so-subtle hint at the see-and-be-seen posing to come. Inside, the prominent main bar's white-grid-enclosed plasma screens are a focal point... more

A well-balanced Prius of good nightlife and food. Kelso and Fez tune in Tokyo, with Roppongi's red lights and sexually charged youth, Koi's menu, and Ginza's flair. Inclusivity makes it a Blvd. exclusive. I came here for a friends birthday last month. The sushi was pretty good but not really what I expected. I really liked the decorations and red lighting. The atmosphere was cool and it was really crowded. It seems like the place is more about the aesthetics than the quality of the food. I saw waitresses walking around with plates of food that was visually pleasing. For example, there was an... more
