The red can be really hot but this is good, inexpensive New Mexican food and is traditional Albuquerque style. Yum! A long-standing tradition in NM is to stop at one of the Garcia's locations and eat 'til you sweat. You can't go wrong with blue corn chicken enchiladas and Christmas style chile.

We had dinner here on a Sunday night. It was busy but no wait. Really good food though harder to find gluten free options than other places. Made their margaritas with wine instead of tequila.

I asked a local merchant about where to get a good meal with green chilies on it, and was told to head over to Garcia's Kitchen. I ordered the "Karnitas" Burrito with green chili. The "karnitas" are different than what I have at home; they were beef rather than pork. The meat was a bit chewy. BUT, the green chilies...
