Asian simplicity melds with Texas boldness. A restaurant and lounge in an apartment building. The result is Fuse, featuring Tex-Asian cuisine, infusing Texas and Asian foods and spices in a hip, urban atmosphere.

In Short This sleek 75-seat restaurant boasts three levels and a 10,000-square-foot patio with bamboo water garden. The industrial decor's concrete floors, metal chairs and railings mix with Asian touches like bamboo place mats and stone figurines. The menu blends Texas bravado with Asian flavors in dishes with such macho names as hot and sour shooters. The five-spice duck breast features ... more

Three levels and a 10,000 square-foot roof patio. Industrial but with an Asian core. Live music acts are the order of some days but really it’s just all about sexying up a stripped down space. More restaurant than you think but more lounge than club. Half-price Mondays mean you can order twice as much and not feel guilty—we’re talking about food by the way.

Were promptly seated on the main floor outside the bathroom and across from the kitchen. Promptly re-seated more comfortably in the half empty upper level. Rushed into drinks, we settled on cocktails. Unfortunately ... more

I haven’t been to Fuse in awhile. I had the filet of beef tenderloin and overall it was pretty tasty. If you’re into the whole TexAsian fusion scene, you’ll probably get a better feel or liking to this place then I did. Not that it’s bad, because it wasn’t. I will say that I was not impressed with the waitstaff suggested Veraison Black Bart's Rose. I opted for the Bonny Doon Cardinal Zin and didn ... more

Went here for a birthday party, had a small private room with great service. They had coordinated appetizers with the couple that organized the event and had excellent sushi and dumpling type platters. Our main courses were very good and reasonably priced. Went by the patio upstairs which seems to have a fun scene, open air looking out over downtown. Makes for a fun night out.
