Established in 1901 as one of the nation's first summer camps, Frost Valley YMCA now provides four seasons of outdoor, experiential and educational opportunities. Frost Valley YMCA is a 6,000 acre residential camping, environmental education, and conference center located in the heart of the "forever wild" Catskill Mountain Preserve. Programs include: Resident Summer Camp Teen Adventure Camp Farm Summer Camp After School Program Day Camp Environmental Education Family Weekends Conference and Group Retreats Teambuilding Elderhostel and Adult Education Cross Country Skiing Three Season Horseback Riding Environmental Science Research Partnerships Programs with the Tokyo YMCA. Frost Valley YMCA Visitors Include: 15,000 students through the residential environmental education programs from schools in NY and NJ. 14,000 overnight families and groups guests including scout troops, individual families, YMCA, not-for-profit, and church groups. 1,600 children in summer resident camp programs from throughout the United States, with most residing in the tri-state region.
