Disappointing overcooked roast beef, cooked mashed potatoes and foul tasting corn

I wasn't impressed with my meal this evening at the Front Royal Diner. My meal was basically inedible and became my dogs diner. The roast beef was dry and severely overcooked, the mashed potatoes were hard and grainy. The corn tasted old, sour and basically I ate the four pieces of potatoes in my cream of potato soup for dinner....

After a particularly disappointing lunch several weeks ago we decided to return for another breakfast which we have always found good, especially their omelets. This time even the omelets were disappointing, overcooked and dry. Service was inattentive. Doubt we'll return again anytime soon. Not worth the time

The food is not all that good the service is slow out of my three visits there the third time I had to wait so long to be seated I turned around and left

Served by Tricia who was very friendly and accommodating. Tried the all day breakfast, french dip and hamburger. All very good. Reasonable prices. Extensive menu. Fast service.Short drive off highway. Across the street from gas station for all the travellers.
